there is nothing eco-freindly...that word is jus synomonus with some guy getting rich off of dumb people or moving the non-eco-freindly (normal) stuff to something else
case in point
flourescent light bulbs
eco part:
use less energy
non eco part:
have mercury in them
takes 15 mins to actually save electricity (takes extra power to start)
have to waste money on the recycling of them (because of the mercury

toyota prius
eco part:
saves on gas
non-eco:
twice as expensive to buy
alot of nickel involved with the manufacturing of batteries
the batteries are a hazardous waste
cost 3 times more per mile to maintain then a hummer
so now u ask whos getting rich?
al gore..ask him to do a speech for say a block party or something and u will hear a number beyond yer wildest dreams...the sad part is many people are dumb enuff to pay it
the government is trying to hop on the band wagon too
how many flourescent lights do u have in your home right now?
u do realize if they break that mercury is a heavy metal and will cause blood poisoning and nervous disorders..
so in regards to yer question..i think u should try it..i know you will have a huge line of idiots throwing money at you and since im a capitolist..i say GO FOR IT!

"Eco friendly" is not a clearly understood concept and many may offer different definitions. My preferred definition would be an activity which is environmentally sustainable in that it doesn't use excessive resources to the detriment of the prevailing ecological system.

Any chemical - such as water or silicon - is not in itself ecologically damaging its the extent to which your use of this chemical will distort the ecology of your environment. E.g. a water based car wash may not be that damaging if you don't use harmful detergent and you collect small amounts of naturally and sustainably obtained water.

'Elmer's casein glue is made of milk protein and 'eco-friendly'.
Most sealants are not bio-degradable by nature.
The most 'eco-friendly' woud be shellac, (all organic,
both the lacuer and the alcohol solvent), but it's far from the
best sealant you can get.
It should be adequate for indoor use though.
It's available in both 'gloss' and 'matte' finish.
